CLAN SITES

The Australian Celtic Festival captures an array of Clans over the festival period, a they are a unique and very important part of the festival. Clans and Associations are invited to be colourful, fun, appealing and innovative to add to the festival atmosphere. They are particularly encouraged to embrace Celtic culture and ceremony, celebrating the diversity of Celtic experiences.

The 2012 Festival Clan/Association application forms are now available - Click here to download an application form. All Clans who attended the 2011 festival  and supplied an email address, have been emailed a copy of the application. Please contact the festival office at mhollingworth@gisc.nsw.gov.au if you would like the document posted .

We encourage you  to read the application thoroughly as there is new information included for the 2012 festival, particularly regarding insurance, merchandising and payment options. The festival committee have developed these formal structures to facilite the role of the clan sites at the festival. This structure will allow the relationship between the committee and clans to grow the festival together. It will encourage new partnerships and further stakeholder engagement.

Applications close March 31st 2012 and must include a copy of public liability insurance. Clan sites are strictly non-merchandise sites. Clans may apply for  a stall site with the payment if they wish to sell any merchandise over the festival. Late and/or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Applications are accepted as they arrive. Please send your applications in early to save disappointment . The committee reserves the right to refuse entry to non/compliant clan sites.
