How do I book Showground Accommodation?
Internet:

1. Click on "Book Now" to make a booking and payment for the Glen Innes Showgrounds.

2. Go to the top left hand side of page and change the date to the day you would like to arrive.  Showgrounds will be open for camping accommodation from Tuesday  1st  May -Monday 7 th May 2012.

 No refunds will be available for cancellations at the showgrounds.

How do I get transport from the showground to the Standing Stones?

The showgrounds are situated between the two main event locations of the festival, the Australian Standing Stones and Grey Street (Glen Innes main street).  Transportation to either is as follows;

• Walking to either location is around  15 minutes,  the walk to the standing stones is quite steep and not recommended for the elderly.
• Bus on the Saturday and Sunday of the festival, the festival bus will pick up passengers from the Visitor Information Centre and go via the Bourke Street entry of the showgrounds to pick up campers and drop off at the Standing Stones site for a gold coin donation.  You must have purchased your entry wristband passes to the site to be able to get on the bus.  This bus continously goes to the festival site and back to the Visitor Informaiton Centre Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 3.30pm.

Camping The showgrounds are situated in between the main street of Glen Innes and the Australian Standing Stones. The camping area is suitable for caravans, tents, motor homes and other camping utilities ,however the amenties are basic showers and toilets ( 45  toilets and 13 showers ) . All patrons must supply their  own tagged electrical equipment  (extension cords,power boards etc) . Pets are welcome, but dogs are to be on a leash at all times and all litter picked up . There are no site numbers - first in, your choice of site location. Please be aware that there are no ATM or Public telephone facilities at the showground .
