Designated a Hallmark event, the 2013 Australian Celtic Festival planning paid handsome dividends with the recent 21st  Festival recognised as an important contributor to the ever-increasing tourism industry in Glen Innes. Held at the Australian Standing Stones - a national monument to honour all the Celtic people who helped to pioneer Australia - the Australian Celtic Festival draws together Celtic Associations, Clans and Celts from around the world.

The 2013 21st  Australian Celtic Festival  Year of Scotland took place from the 2nd to 5th May . The festival attracted a record number of visitors to the New England and Northwest Region with an attendance in the thousands  by  spectators, participants and visitors, generating $1.53 million (2010) into the local economy.
