About the Australian
Celtic Cultural Awards
2022 is a very exciting year for the Festival as we celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Australian Celtic Festival.
To mark this tremendous milestone we are expanding our Fashion Awards including a name change to the Australian Celtic Cultural Awards (ACCA). These awards feature the categories of fashion, arts, crafts, ancestral skills and literature which are all proving to be a strong part of popular culture and design all over the world. Connections to the past, Celtic mythology and traditions has become an evocative world for new audiences, Celtic creativity is making a resurgence.
This year’s theme is a celebration of 3o years of growth of our eight Celtic nations that the Australian Celtic Festival acknowledges. Special categories of Cornish, Welsh and Breton inspired entries are welcomed.
