Free Concert: The Parson & The Peas

Venue: Glen Innes Severn Library

Date: Friday 3 May 2024

Time: 2pm

The Parson & The Peas is a trio-quartet specialising in Celtic and folk music performed on haunting woodwind & Irish bouzouki.

Their performances feature revived traditional tunes and ballads recalled from the heyday of folk music, from performers such as Declan Affley, Bernard Bolan, and Bernard Wrigley, to name just a few.

Celtic Dinner & Performance by Matt Scullion at Glen Innes Showground

Venue: Tea Room & BBQ area, Glen Innes Showground

Time: Opens 6pm; Dinner served 6.30pm

Enjoy a two-course alternate-drop Celtic menu and performance by local Golden Guitar-winning Australiana singer-songwriter, Matt Scullion.

1. Irish Beer Braised Roast served with Colcannon

2. Irish Lamb Stew served with Colcannon

Dessert:

1. Irish Bread & Butter Pudding
2. Apple Cake & Irish Whisky Custard

Bonnag bread will be at each table

Tea and coffee will also be available

Celtic Concert: Murphy’s Pigs

Time: Traditional haggis toasting ceremony at 6.45pm; Entertainment from 7.30pm 

Additional information:
The Stones Restaurant will be open for meals – Limited bookings available.

The Carvery will be available to concert ticket holders via the auditorium.
